garand's here for real now tbh his development was pretty steady down in houston man he might actually get some reps with lundell this year

ngl i get your point tho its one thing being cautious but he's still gotta play sometime man can't just keep talking about him in the minors

I think it's worth noting that Garand did play some games with the Rangers' ECHL affiliate in previous seasons, so while he hasn't been called up to the big club yet, he has gotten some on-ice experience in the minors. @RangersEnjoyer makes a good point about him needing playing time eventually.

yeah that's true about the affiliate gigs, but its still pretty low-key for a prospect of his caliber ngl i think lundell needs some more experienced d-men around him tbh

i think you're right about lundell needing more experienced d-men but on teh other hand cant he just learn from lindholm at least? @RedWingRusty i agree hes already gotten some reps in the minors so now its time to take it up a notch

idk about lindholm as a mentor tho, he's been around for a bit but hasnt exactly blown anyone away w/ his play lately man, @dpetrov maybe garand gets those big club reps sooner than u think lol

idk if lindholm being a bad example is worth arguing over lol @dpetrov might be right about garand getting reps sooner than expected tbh

i actually think lindholm is a decent example for lundell tbh, kid's already showing flashes of good play and its only his second year

@RangersEnjoyer makes a fair point about Lindholm being a decent example for Lundell to learn from, especially considering his flashes of good play in only his second year. That's exactly why the development pathway through the minors and AHL experience will be crucial for both players.

i agree w u on lindholm being a decent example imo he's been solid and consistent for us and that's something lundell can learn from, maybe even get some valuable input from him during power plays
