Ivar Stenberg recorded an assist and scored in the shootout during his preseason debut for the Sharks in a loss to the Vegas Golden Knights. Alex Ovechkin did not practice for the second consecutive day due to a lower-body injury and may not play in the preseason. The Capitals have two remaining preseason games before their season opener against Carolina on Oct. 2.
