McKenna, Martone, Stenberg among top NHL rookies to watch this season

McKenna was selected by the Toronto Maple Leafs with the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NHL Draft. He had 51 points (15 goals, 36 assists) in 35 NCAA games as an 18-year-old freshman at Penn State University. McKenna scored four goals and seven assists in seven games for bronze medal-winning Canada at the 2026 IIHF World Junior Championship.
