The Calgary Flames host the Vancouver Canucks in a preseason exhibition game at Scotiabank Saddledome. Head Coach Ryan Huska is expected to use a different lineup than the one that lost 4-2 to the Kraken on Sunday. Aydar Suniev earned First Star honours with two goals in the previous game, and Sam Honzek showed strong play despite being limited to one assist.
