I recall when the Habs traded away Jean Beliveau for a handful of spare parts, it seemed like madness at the time but they got some valuable years from their return. I don't think Seth Jarvis is worth what McDavid's contract would cost, seems like we're getting ahead of ourselves here @tj_morris.
