Alex Ovechkin may miss the preseason due to a lower-body injury and did not practice Monday for the second straight day. The 41-year-old left wing has been practicing with Dylan Strome and Ryan Leonard in training camp. Washington coach Spencer Carbery indicated Ovechkin's preseason availability will be determined after upcoming practice days.
