Florida Panthers agreed to terms with forward Samu Salminen on a two-year, entry-level contract. Salminen was originally selected by the New Jersey Devils in the third round (68th overall) of the 2021 NHL Draft. He played college hockey for the University of Denver from 2024-26, leading the team to a national championship and recording 29 points in 43 games.
