blue jackets looking at some tough choices for werenski

i dont think were gonna get anything better than nick at that price man, were lucky hes still willing to re-sign tbh imo

I agree with greg_bluejackets on this one. It's great that Werenski wants to stay, but we've got a salary cap issue brewing and Werenski won't be re-signing for the same price. Cap space needs to be managed carefully now.

imo hes got a chance to get paid before he hits his prime so idnt blame him one bit for wanting top dollar now, hes worth it ngl

im talking about werenskis contract, not his age, cant pay him top dollar if we gotta blow our cap man. honestly @BlueJacketsHopeful werenski wont be worth the hit to our salary situation next year imo.

tbh werenski got his last extension right before the cap went up big time, he wont wanna take a paycut now that it's going back down honestly dont see him giving anything away, even if we gotta eat it man @greg_bluejackets

ngl werenski played us last time around man, i wouldn't put it past him to try and get paid big time @BlueJackets9 got that right

ngl i think werenski got us last time too man, hes been one of the highest paid dmen for a reason honestly dont see him taking a paycut if he can get something better elsewhere
