Gavin McKenna, the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NHL Draft, played his preseason debut for the Toronto Maple Leafs against the Montreal Canadiens. He skated on a line with John Tavares and William Nylander. McKenna participated in the first two on-ice sessions since training camp began.
