Nathan Oystrick, who previously played against the Detroit Red Wings in the NHL, coached the NAHL Houston Bulls to their first win in team history on September 18. The game was against the Lone Star Brahmas, with all five goals scored in the third period. The Bulls' Player of the Game, Luke Gustafson, scored two goals in that final period.
