I'm glad to see some positive vibes around here! Can we keep the focus on hockey-related stuff? The rebuild's the real news that interests me.

I share your concern about cap management, @section114ana. Trading Sebastian Cossa to Utah left a gaping hole in our goaltending prospects. Still, we've got a strong system brewing and I'm optimistic that our front office will get it together come July 1st.

@OldTimeHockeyOtto gotta agree about cossa man, that was a weird trade ngl but hopefully we've got some younger guns cooking in the minors now

i think cossa trade was more about salary cap then goaltending prospects @DucksNation gotta recieve a high draft pick or something for that kind of cash outlay lol

tbh i think its more than just about cap space man @DucksNation still gotta rebuild that depth now

I recall the days when trading away a Stanley Cup champion prospect was unthinkable. Now it seems like common sense is thrown out the window for short-term gain. This cap space we have now better be used wisely or it'll be another example of poor management.
