Pierre-Luc Dubois played in only 29 games last season due to injuries including abdominal and adductor muscle issues that required surgery and a hand fracture. He had 66 points (20 goals, 46 assists) and a plus-27 rating in 82 games during the 2024-25 season when the Capitals finished first in the Eastern Conference with 111 points. Dubois is determined to remain an impact player after missing more than three months due to injuries and sitting out the final game of the previous season.
