Gavin McKenna will make his preseason debut for the Toronto Maple Leafs against the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday. He is expected to play on a line with center John Tavares and right wing William Nylander. McKenna, the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NHL Draft, has participated in two on-ice sessions with Tavares and Nylander since training camp began.
