Patrick Kane is beginning his 20th NHL season and second stint with the Chicago Blackhawks after signing a two-year, $16 million contract. The forward, who previously helped Chicago win three Stanley Cups from 2010-23, was named alternate captain alongside new captain Connor Bedard. Kane expressed optimism about returning the team to prominence despite being 37 years old.
