Shawn Horcoff was named interim general manager and executive vice president of the Detroit Red Wings after four seasons as assistant general manager. Dylan Larkin is not yet ready to participate in training camp due to an injury but will be rehabbing with the team. Simon Edvinsson's contract discussions have begun as the organization looks to retain the defenseman.
