I agree with you that it's way too early to start penciling guys in for specific roles. We've seen some great stories from kids who took advantage of their opportunities, like Abel's first year with the Black Hawks - no one expected him to be a lasting impact on the team, but he went out and made his own luck.

tbh otto makes a good point gotta see how preseason shakes out, cant have too many guys thinking they're gonna be something they'rent just yet man

man i feel like we're underestimating protas potential tbh he's been grinding for years and if anyone can make a jump its him

yeah protas is def been grinding for years and it's hard to deny he's due for a breakout ngl i think we need one of those 'unsung hero' stories this season and he could be the guy

@joe_capitals: yeah idk about that combo but rehs has been lookin real good in preseason games so far honestly think he can play 2nd line with some of these bigger forwards man

ngl i think we got our eyes on too many guys from within and it's holding us back honestly think we need a vet or two to really set the tone for this season man @joe_capitals

tbh i think we need a vet at 3c more than anywhere else honestly feel like rehs is still a work in progress man
