Yvan Cournoyer, a Montreal Canadiens Hall of Famer and 10-time Stanley Cup champion, visited Saint-Boniface, Quebec, ahead of a Canadiens-Senators preseason game. He was present for Hockeyville festivities celebrating the community and met fans at Tom Donovan Arena. Saint-Boniface received $250,000 in arena upgrades and $10,000 in hockey equipment through the NHL/NHLPA Industry Growth Fund.
