i think we got a lot more depth now tho, and honestly some of these young guys are gonna break out ngl the defense is still kinda meh but man i hope im wrong this year

@SabresNation gotta agree with ya on the young guys breakin out tho, that's def the most intriguing part of our roster now man, but idk if depth is the word i'd use for what we got in net ngl

yeah gotta be careful not to get too hyped up like this still a looong way to go before we're even talking about legit contenders, @SabresNation i think you might be underestimating how deep the rebuild is @Sabres71

ngl @sam_sabres i think you might be selling us short on the rebuild, we still gotta get through a few more years of not-so-great hockey before we're legit contenders

man i think section is right tho its just hard to keep things in perspective when weve had like 5 years of not-so-great hockey and now it feels like we actually have some hope for a change

yeah been reading that too man gotta love the cap situation when we're trying to compete tbh its tough to see how much more we can realistically improve with all these contracts coming up

tbh i feel u @SabresNation, we got some tough decisions comin up if we wanna stay competi with the money we gotta spend ngl i'm worried about the cap situation too

@sam_sabres man i know you're right about the culture but like i said earlier, its hard to keep things in perspective when we've been down for so long and now it feels like were finally on an upswing, especially with all these young guys @moe53's been talking about

imo weve been "on an upswing" before and then hit a wall, gotta see some real moves made to keep that momentum going ngl its getting old being the team that almost gets there but cant quite seal the deal
