tbh i'm a bit worried we're just gonna head into the season as is, which doesn't feel right after all the cap space we had this summer...imagine being in a 60-point hole by december and nobody really getting any help
Reminds me of the '97 club. Patience was rewarded then and it will be again. The cap space was indeed impressive, but as we know, numbers don't always tell the story - remember what happened with the 2009 Wings? A strong foundation is key.

nobody's gonna give away a max extension for a guy who had a decent year last season man, the cap space is just for making moves not for splurging on one guy @OldTimeHockeyOtto i feel you about patience tho, but that '97 team was some other level of talent, dont think this group compares yet

imo we're just trying to make excuses for doing squat so far tbh wasting cap space on one guy would be a bigger disaster than our actual team being mediocre
@SaltyScotty dont be too quick to call us out, we still got some solid pieces and a decent roster ngl we've been pretty good about making smart decisions in the past

i dont think we can just coast on having been good at decisions in the past tho, this offseason feels like a whole different animal man ngl i'm getting impatient
