Sharks coach Warsofsky signs multiyear contract

Ryan Warsofsky signed a multiyear contract with the San Jose Sharks. The 38-year-old coach was entering the final year of his previous contract and had previously served as an assistant coach for two seasons. Under his guidance, the Sharks improved from last place in the NHL standings to finishing fifth in the Pacific Division with a 39-35-8 record and 86 points.
