islanders pick up ethan bear for next year

yeah bear had his moments but imo he's got some baggage too, lets see how hes gonna fit into our system

tbh i think were getting him for the depth he brings more than anything, hopefully hes able to get back on track with a fresh start man our d corps does look thin otherwise

i mean idk how people forget hes got one of the worst sv% in the league over his career, and now youre talking about him fitting into our system?

yep thats the thing @section301nyi we got nothing else really and now were just taking on vets for depth signings, not sure i love that approach tbh

i feel ya, we've been stuck between a rock and a hard place tryin to get decent experience without breakin the bank, its tough when nobody wants to take on actual value in return for picks or prospects man

tbh i dont think we can expect a lot from bear or anyone else on d next year, our system just isnt deep enough man

i feel u @IslandersLifer, like we're just patchworkin together a d corps on paper and hopin for the best, but at least bear's got some NHL miles under his belt or whatnot
