The Buffalo Sabres are entering training camp with motivation following their first playoff appearance in 15 years. The team ended the longest Stanley Cup Playoff drought in NHL history by winning the Atlantic Division. They were eliminated in the Eastern Conference Second Round by the Montreal Canadiens in Game 7 overtime.
