The Red Wings have named Shawn Horcoff as interim general manager following Steve Yzerman's transition to senior adviser. Dylan Larkin has requested a trade and will miss the start of training camp due to an upper-body injury. Viktor Arvidsson has signed a two-year, $10 million contract to help offset the loss of Patrick Kane.
