Jordan Staal signed a one-year contract with the Carolina Hurricanes worth up to $10 million for the 2027-28 season. The deal includes a $900,000 base salary, $4 million signing bonus, and up to $5.1 million in performance bonuses. Staal had 36 points in 75 regular-season games last season and was awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP.
