Shawn Horcoff has been named interim general manager of the Detroit Red Wings while the organization searches for a permanent successor to Steve Yzerman. Horcoff has served in the Red Wings' front office since 2016, including as assistant general manager since 2022 and as GM of the Grand Rapids Griffins. The team began training camp with Horcoff filling the role temporarily.
