Top Remaining UFA Patrik Laine Linked To New Team Out West

Patrik Laine, a 28-year-old Finnish forward, met with the Anaheim Ducks and could sign with the team after they finalize a deal for restricted free agent Cutter Gauthier. The Ducks have approximately $15.5 million in cap space and may be able to sign Laine to a contract worth around $1 million. Laine scored 20 goals in 52 games with Montreal during the 2024-25 season, with 15 of those goals coming on the power play.
