Shawn Horcoff has been named interim general manager of the Detroit Red Wings following Steve Yzerman's departure. Horcoff had been handling day-to-day general manager duties since Yzerman stepped down in mid-July. The team will proceed with training camp under Horcoff's management while searching for a permanent successor to Yzerman.
