LA Trade for Larkin?

imo you're being too harsh on our brass they think this trade makes sense or they wouldn't even be considering it man larkin's a generational talent maybe we sacrifice the future for that kind of difference maker

yeah i guess we gotta be willing to take a shot if larkin's really the difference maker they think he is but at the same time i'm still low-key worried about giving up that much, ngl our farm system's deep

I see what you mean about our farm system being deep, @Kings17. Reminds me of the early 60s when we traded Frank Mahovlich for Alex Delvecchio and some lesser pieces. That gamble paid off, I suppose, but it's hard to replicate those kinds of trades in this era with so many variables at play.

you cant just sit on the sidelines and hope we magically get a star player man im all for giving up some draft picks if it means getting larkin and being legit contenders again @section7lak
