yeah but can we really trust those edge stats? last year they meant nothing in march and april man
edge stats look decent for us
naturally we gotta see how lee and trocheck fit in with our current guys but tbh i like what i'm seeing so far
@ryan_mammoth lol u bring up march and april again imo its not exactly relevant to where were at preseason man
@ryan_mammoth's point about last year is valid, edge stats are one thing but they don't always translate to playoff results. Those numbers do hold some value in preseason though, as they indicate underlying team strength. It's worth paying attention to how our team performs on the edges when the games actually matter.
@fenwickfan i get your point about preseason edge stats but honestly its hard to say if they translate till we actually see some games played man

no way man preseason edge stats are basically meaningless till we get some actual games under our belts

i think you're both right @fenwickfan and i'm with @Mammoth4 on this one - preseason edge stats are cool and all but till we get some actual games in imo they dont mean squat
idk about "don't mean squat" man, i think its fair to say preseason edge stats are basically pointless till we get some actual games played

im just sayin preseason is low leverage for me, till we get some actual games in i dont put too much stock in edge stats or whatever else ngl
@Mammoth4: low leverage preseason nhl man that's a pretty deep sentence tbh
