The Senators lost to the Canadiens in a shootout at the Prospect Challenge. Jaxon Cover recorded two goals and two assists in the game, finishing the tournament with seven points in two games. The 18-year-old first-round pick played center, a new position for him, and scored twice against Arseny Radkov.
