yeah that's a crazy number but i gotta think about how many more years he has left at that pace man, we've seen it happen to other guys before and its never pretty

I think you're being overly cautious, @chris_hurricanes. Nikechin's numbers have been dropping off a bit in recent years, and he's had trouble adapting to the system changes - I'm not convinced 5 years is a guarantee at that level of production. @HurricanesBeliever's mention of his worth to Pittsburgh was spot on though.

ngl @danM88 got a point tho, nikechin's had some trouble adjusting to the system changes and his numbers havent been what they used to be in recent years man

yeah i see what u mean about him struggling to adjust but lets be real, his goal scoring drought was kinda masked by the playoff run man, we all breathed a sigh of relief when he finally snapped out of it and got some goals against vegas

tbh i think we're all forgetting his age factor too man, he's still pretty good for a vet but you can't keep him at that level forever honestly

yeah i think ppl r glossing over the drought cos it seemed like a major deal at the time but now we're just focused on next yr and keeping some of our own guys imo @HurricanesBeliever

yeah i get that ppl are focused on next yr now but we gotta remember he was playing through some serious fatigue in those playoffs man, it's not normal to keep producing at his level all season @chris_hurricanes

idk why ppl keep harpin on his age man, we got our eyes on some young talent comin up from the minors

@Hurricanes2 yeah maybe we arent lookin at that fatigue factor in the same light yet but i think its somethin to watch next season man
