I think you make a good point about Ferland bringing grit to the team, although I'm not sure if his production warrants a two-year deal at that cap hit. Reminds me of Mike Milbury - a rugged player who always gave it his all, but didn't necessarily put up the numbers on the scoreboard.

i agree w/ otto, ferly's grit is definitely valuable but 2 yrs at $4m avg seems steep considering his goal output imo @OldTimeHockeyOtto
