Red Wings strip Dylan Larkin of captaincy after trade request but say he'll be at training camp

Dylan Larkin will attend Detroit Red Wings training camp despite being stripped of the captaincy after requesting a trade. The team announced the decision following his request to be moved from the organization, which had missed the playoffs for 10 consecutive years. Larkin has five seasons remaining on his eight-year, $69.6 million contract and initially sought moves to Florida, Minnesota, or Vegas.
