bruins cant keep up with these elite dmen contracts

idk who they're thinking of trading but we definitely need some cap relief tbh cant keep giving mcavinchuk and smith contracts a 9 year extension or whatever lol

@BruinsEnjoyer we dont need 9 year extensions for mcav and smith tbh those contracts arent even up for another decade man but still, idk how we clear cap space honestly

@BruinsEnjoyer ngl i think smiths contract is a bigger worry than mcavs tbh he's been trending downwards the past few seasons and 6-7 years isn't that far away @Bruins19 got a point on this one imo

tbh smiths contract is gonna be a problem sooner rather than later, his play's been slipping for too long now

ngl i think smiths contract is a bigger problem than makars imo, we cant just let him ride out this slump and still expect him to be a top-6 center

i feel like smiths contract is gonna haunt us for a while now, and its not just about him riding out this slump, his value's def changed since that 20goal season @SaturdayNightSuze i think we're both on the same page here man
