yeah that line did look kinda weird towards the end tbh, thought maybe they were just tryin to mix things up before the season ended man

tbh i think we were all just gettin caught up in the hype of that line man, they definitely didnt look good towards the end.

ngl i think the struggles were just a result of them tryin to do too much with that line, thought theyd gel into somethin decent but idk now

idk if tryin too hard hurt more than the actual chemistry issues, but honestly i think we were just plain outmatched at that line combo man.

idk about outmatched tbh but i think that line combo just needed some time to figure itself out man @BluesTilIDie maybe we were expectin too much from it right off the bat

tbh id think outmatched is an understatement, that line got pushed around by even the lower level teams we faced man.

tbh i dont think outmatched is an understatement either man, that line got abused by anyone with a pulse

yeah i got the same vibe from watchin games last yr, didnt matter if it was low level or playoff teams they just seemed to exploit that line too easy man

i still think they made a mistake by tradin him though, idk how ya can replace someone with that kind of playmaker ability @Blues2 dont get me wrong but some of his linemates just werent gonna cut it no matter what man

@BluesTilIDie I agree that Kyrou's playmaking ability is tough to replace, but from what we've seen in the offseason so far, it seems like Stevie Y has a plan to address those issues. Trading Cossa and focusing on defense might be a step towards building a more cohesive unit.

@SuburbanWings ngl cossa wasnt the only guy they had issues with in goal last yr so not sure how thats supposed to address the problem tbh

ngl @SuburbanWings and stevie y is a great combo but cossa being traded dont exactly inspire confidence in their goalie planning tbh. @BluesTilIDie i think we need someone who can at least give us a chance to win, not just be some warm body in the net man

I feel ya, been hearing crickets on that backup goalie front too. We might be stuck with Cossa or whatever they got in Utica, which isn't exactly inspiring confidence, @BluesTilIDie agrees with you on the Cossa trade being a questionable move.

tbh danM88 i feel like we're forgetting about Cossa's rookie season and assuming he regressed or got worse just because of that trade honestly the kid had some bright moments last year man

yeah kid had some good moments last year but still think they gave up too much for him especially after he was just traded to utah man that's just crazy imo

ngl i think they just panicked with that cossa trade and overpaid for a goalie who only had like 5 solid games man @section301stl honestly dont see how you can still be defending it, thought we were better than that at the blues front office
