sharks trade eklund for 2026 draft pick

tbh i dont think its tanking, more like cleaning house, eklund wasnt contributing much anyway ngl we need fresh blood in the system

yeah eklund had his moments but honestly he was really streaky and i'm more worried about bourque's play than anyone elses tbh we should've traded for a real winger this year

bourque's play is a concern but at least hes got heart ngl that streaky thing was eklund's whole career

ngl i feel like heart's gotta outweigh streaky play on a guy that cant even score a pp goal this year man bourque needs to get his game together fast or he's gonna be gone too

idk why people keep giving bourque a pass for being streaky, its not like hes even getting goals consistently, hes been a disaster on the pp and outside of 1 or 2 games all year man

idk why anyone would give bourque another chance after last year too tbh, cant keep carrying guys who can only bring their game for 2 games at a time man

i feel ya on eklund being streaky his whole career but bourque at least tries hard and that's more than some guys on this team can say man

yeah idk about "trying hard" when its not translating into goals or wins, thats just getting old tbh
