Chris Kreider's contract was terminated by the Anaheim Ducks, making him an unrestricted free agent. The 35-year-old forward had a $6.5 million cap hit remaining on his seven-year, $45.5 million contract. Kreider went unclaimed on waivers after the Ducks placed him on unconditional waivers.
