@TheWire I remember reading about Melrose's passing last year, sad to hear his legacy being remembered by Wendel Clark through the hockey school experience. Guess that means we're getting a little older...

Barry Melrose was a former NHL player, coach, and ESPN broadcaster who died at age 70. Toronto Maple Leafs legend Wendel Clark recalled teaching alongside Melrose at the Barry Melrose Hockey School in the early 1980s. Clark also remembered a bench-clearing brawl between the Maple Leafs and Detroit Red Wings on January 13, 1986, and Melrose's coaching of the Los Angeles Kings during the 1993 Stanley Cup playoffs.
