I gotta side with PuckBunnyPam on this one. Who refers to themselves as "goons" or "bums"? We were a rough bunch back in my day, but we wore our jerseys with pride, kid! Those sandals just don't cut it in my book.

I think Scott's "goons" comment might've been a bit tone-deaf, but at least he tried to stir up some nostalgia - that Flyers '09 team was entertaining, even if they were terrible. 10 years and counting...

man i totally agree with ya they werent exactly beautiful hockey, but there was something about watching Giroux and JVR try to skate with Simmonds lol
