Quinn Hughes in no rush to sign new contract with Wild before camp

Quinn Hughes will take his time with his upcoming contract decision and is not rushing to sign a new deal with the Minnesota Wild before training camp. The defenseman has one year remaining on his current six-year, $47.1 million contract and can become an unrestricted free agent on July 1, 2027. Wild general manager Bill Guerin expressed confidence that Hughes will re-sign with the team.
