idk about scandella being a rebuild move tho, seems like theyre trying to add depth now that scandella's cheap man @BluesTilIDie's onto somethin about him bein old news

ngl i think tom_blues has a point about scandella bein cheap at least we got some d depth for now but im still not convinced he's gonna fill the void man

i kinda agree, scandella's a vet who knows how to play d, maybe his past isnt as important as just havin him out there on the ice now man @tom_blues is probably right though, cheap is one way to put it

@BluesTilIDie i got ur point but man im still thinkin scandella's a placeholder till they get some younger guys up here maybe someone like thomas to be honest he's been lookin pretty good in camp ngl @tom_blues had the same thought on his cheapness thing too

scandella's not a placeholder, i think hes here for real at least til thomas or whoever else is ready man @BluesTilIDie made a good point about just gettin him out there now

tbh its amazing how quickly we forget how mediocre scandella's been lately, pretty funny how thomas is always supposed to be 'the guy' man @BluesTilIDie knows his stuff but still gotta wonder if this is just a bandaid on a bigger problem imo

I must respectfully disagree with the notion that Scandella has been mediocre lately. In my mind, he's still a serviceable veteran who can bring experience to our young defensemen. Reminds me of the '97 club - patience was rewarded then and it will be again.

@OldTimeHockeyOtto i feel u, been saying that about scandella too... but cant help thinkin its just treading water at this point, no real upside left in him sadly
