tbh i think greiss still got a legit shot lol he's been our backup for yrs and has some experience, might just be the veteran presence we need

dont think its all about being a 30-something year old backup tho man, greiss still got some quality games under his belt and can be a great mentor for the younger guys
i like greiss as a mentor but man we cant keep relying on him for quality games, thats just being optimistic ngl

idk @Islanders88, i think greiss still brings a certain intangibles that can help the younger guys develop, and we all know he's got some playoff experience too man
i get what u mean steve but playoff exp doesn't exactly translate to winning games in the regular season anymore man ngl greiss needs to actually show he can still play

@IslandersLifer I feel where you're coming from but let's not forget how much mileage we got out of Greiss in the playoffs - he's still a playoff-tested vet who can bring leadership to those young guys even if his regular season form falters.
@SuburbanWings playoff mileage don't translate to regular season wins anymore, and honestly idk what greiss even brings at this point man

tbh section301nyi's right, playoff experience is one thing but it's regular season where we get hurt and greiss just can't keep up no more man
