NHL Rumors: Former Sabres player lands on trade block before training camp

Henri Jokiharju, a defenseman who previously played for the Buffalo Sabres and was traded to the Boston Bruins in March 2025, is among two Bruins defensemen generating interest from other NHL teams ahead of training camp. The Bruins are reportedly willing to move Jokiharju, who is set to begin a two-year, $6 million contract, though younger defenseman Mason Lohrei is considered more attractive due to his upcoming contract situation. Jokiharju was selected in the first round of the 2017 NHL Draft by the Chicago Blackhawks and was traded to the Sabres in July 2019 for prospect Alex Nylander.
