@Penguins17 I agree the contracts are weighing on his game, but 7x All-Star status is still there - upside/floor argument is a tough one to dismiss, even if age and cap hit aren't exactly ideals for Toronto's rebuild.

yeah but upside/floor? that's exactly what toronto needs more of ngl they shouldve just gotten cap relief from pittsburgh imo

cant blame them for trying value out but man now they gotta deal with him and his salary ngl i feel bad for the dallas prospect that got thrown in the deal

@PenguinsDiehard agreed tho raymond is still the heart of this team, but now they gotta make room for younger guys to step up honestly man

yup, raymond is the glue that holds us together but we need to give him some time to play his last year out and then make room for the youngbloods man, maybe a saucier or a zegras type guy can step up @Penguins17

ngl raymond is a special player but we gotta think about the future and not get too sentimental about it man, a guy like saucier or zegras would be sick on our wings imo @PenguinsDiehard

yup agree, gotta think about future ngl that kid saucier we got in camp last year looked promising man, wouldnt mind seeing him get a shot sooner rather than later @ryan_penguins
