The Detroit Red Wings' top prospects will play in nearby Windsor, Grand Rapids, and Ann Arbor this season. Michal Svrcek has joined the Windsor Spitfires in the OHL after being under contract with Brynas in Sweden. Svrcek had six goals and 12 assists for 18 points in 11 games for Brynas' junior team last season.
