Five Unique Stories From Red Wings Rookie Camp
Five Detroit Red Wings rookies at the upcoming NHL Rookie Tournament each have unique stories about how they reached the team. Defenseman Justice Christensen signed an AHL contract with Grand Rapids and played in last year's rookie series as a free agent. Winger Jesse Kiiskinen and center Sutter Muzzatti were both acquired from Nashville in trades, though they were originally selected by the Predators in 2023. Christensen captained Canada to a gold medal at the 2025 ISBHF U20 Ball Hockey World Championship.
