Detroit Tigers General Manager Jeff Greenberg is no longer considered for the Detroit Red Wings' open GM position. Greenberg communicated through a Tigers spokesperson his commitment to the Tigers organization and what they are building. The Red Wings and Tigers share ownership under the Ilitch Sports + Entertainment umbrella.
