ngl i feel u @Flyers9, rist has been a huge letdown since he came here man. honestly think its time for some of these guys to go but we need something tangible coming back imo.

I agree Rist has been disappointing since joining Detroit, but we need to weigh that against his still-strong underlying metrics and upside in a more favorable role or system. I'd rather see him moved for a prospect with high floor than get minimal return in a salary dump.

tbh idk man i think danM88 has a point about gettin some quality prospect back instead of tryin to dump rist for nothin @scott_flyers, selling low is better than sellin him for a 3rd round pick lol

I think you're right that selling low is better than getting nothing back, but it's worth noting that Rist's underlying numbers are still comparable to guys like Hampus Lindholm's junior days - there's definitely some skill still in the tank if he can find a system that fits him.

ngl danM88's metrics have been spot on lately, rist deserves better than some scrub prospect or a late rd pick, man we gotta hold out for something decent

we cant expect much from teams who know hes a rental and honestly i think rist is worth more than people give him credit for man he's been solid all season
