I've read the piece from Yahoo Sports and I think they hit on a few key points, especially regarding the Griffins' goaltending situation with the departure of Sebastian Cossa. @TheWire, you're right to highlight that, now it'll be interesting to see who emerges as the top stopper in Grand Rapids.
@SuburbanWings: Yeah, I think Stevie Y's plan to focus on development was always going to mean some growing pains in terms of immediate on-ice success - we can't expect to replace Cossa with someone from within and suddenly be competing for a Calder Cup. This is the year to let the young D be themselves.
