ngl i agree werenski's our best dman by a mile, but we gotta think about the cap hit too, cant just pay one guy that kinda money and expect the rest of the team to be okay...

i know werenski's gonna get paid, we all know that, but i dont think its a cap hit problem yet tbh the kids on d can help split it up next year and we can revisit his contract then

idk man i think we're closer than you think, werenski's deal is a big chunk of that cap hit and it only gets bigger ngl the kids on d arent gonna split it up like magic next year @BlueJackets9 agree with u about paying one guy too much

honestly werenski's deal isnt even that much of a problem yet tbh, but imo we gotta think about the bigger picture and how we're gonna keep our d corps intact in a couple years man

I agree with BlueJackets9, kid. Werenski's deal isn't a problem yet, but the thought of having to revisit it in a couple years should be considered when making long-term plans for your defense corps. It's a matter of patience and thinking ahead, not panicking over short-term cap hits.

ngl i think werenski's deal being "one of many" makes it a lot harder to revisit down the line, man we cant just keep piling on huge contracts and expect jerry to make it work somehow
idk how we expect jerry to fix it all when he cant even get the cap room right man... its like we're waiting for santa claus to come and wave his magic wand
